   Just great. Excellent service, food was just a celebration for the taste buds. We sat by the fire for a drink. Ate well and then relaxed back at the fire and the chap managing silently refilled the fire without any need for us to say a thing. Just incredible presentation and relaxing. Definitely be going again. Thank you

   The food as usual was exceptional. The only thing that I would criticise was the cheese in the cauliflower cheese wasn't a strong tasting cheese. On previous occasions we have had better but that is only a very small criticism of a truly excellent Sunday lunch. We will be back.

   This is a hidden gem! Absolutely amazing overnight stay. Staff food room, everything was 10/10. Only 1 little annoying feature and that was the sticky out bed frame that we kept bashing our knees and shins on 🤣 everything else was out of this world. Self sustaining too which is fab

    A lovely evening out - it was my birthday and the staff brought us some brownies at the end and sang Happy Birthday! It was a really nice touch. I’m coeliac and can’t eat gluten, and they were really good about that too, and knowledgeable. It’s not the first time we’ve been there and we’ll certainly be back. The food was great too and really tasty but my only qualm (and this is personal preference) was that it was quite rich in cream and butter. Might try the lightest option next time!
