   From arrival to departure looked after wonderfully by the pleasant attentive staff.Food and drink of the highest quality presented exquisitely. Will be returning soon.

   One of the most enjoyable hostelries we have experienced, not just recently but over a number of years. We don't live locally but meet at The Riverside as it is about halfway between where we live and where the friends we meet live. Yes, convenient and so good, why would one change? Outstanding food from a good menu with excellent and friendly service. Price is always a consideration and whilst not remotely cheap, the menu is varied and certainly good value for money. No pressure to vacate our table so all very relaxed. We will surely return yet again very soon.

   A lovely pub and outstanding food. Very obvious that a lot of thought has gone into creating each dish and each one we had really 'sang' in terms of flavour, presentation and quality. The staff were very attentive but not intrusive. On this occasion we only had soft drinks so didn't look at the wine list, but I can only imagine that it would be of a very high standard. Considering the quality of the food, our meal was very reasonably priced. We honestly could not fault anything about our dining experience and will definitely be returning to The Riverside next time we are in Shropshire.

    Our first visit. Superb Sunday lunch. Thought and care had clearly gone into the menu. Excellent flavours and ingredients. Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. We will certainly be back when we are next in the area. Highly recommended.
