   There were some good things; whoever is their saucier is phenomenal… the sauces were the best part of the meal. But every dish was either missing something or improperly cooked. And our server, who seemed to want to be anywhere but there, left much to be desired which is disappointing given the level of hospitality at the ritz where the restaurant resides. For $400+ for 2 people I would have expected more. The pasta came undercooked, they did bring us a new one that was better but I’ve had better pasta elsewhere. The cauliflower side ended up being the dish I enjoyed the most as far as quality, taste, balance of flavors. The veal meatballs were over seasoned, not so salty they were inedible but salty. The pear panna cotta dessert was pretty well executed but was missing an acid component to balance it out … both desserts were fine but not worth $18 each. The peppercorn sauce we got on the steak was phenomenal. We ordered a 60 dry aged ribeye steak. It was fine but I wouldn’t get it again. The ambiance was nice although maybe a hair too dark in the space. We had originally had dinner plans elsewhere but when we decided to stay at the ritz, we changed dinner plans to eat at Knife, but if we stayed here again, we’d go off property somewhere else. Not terrible but not memorable and certainly not worth it at the price tag sadly.

   we enjoyed a very nice Sunday Brunch at the striking Knife restaurant in the Ritz Carlton with friends. Alexis our proficient server,made ordering so easy. Scrambled eggs with chives and jalapeños for starters followed by smoked salmon with delightful croissants.

   Our experiences as of late have been excellent. To the extent we have gone two weekends in a row, and look forward to the meal. Offers a little something for everyone. Stunning ambiance and decor. Well worth the visit. I highly recommend the padre padron.

   The service here is top notch. Everyone was working together to help us have a great time. Not just our waiter. That kind of service, coupled with great food will definitely be bringing me and my wife back.

   We really enjoyed the ambience and the service. We walked in with high expectations given the fact this is a Ritz restaurant. Our first impression of the place was great, very elegant, and excellent service. Mi wife’s Cosmo was very well made. My cocktail was a take on the classic Negroni, however it disappointed as it was extremely sweet. We had oysters and a burrata for appetizers. Oysters were really nice. The burrata salad lacked olive oil and tomatoes were very bland. For main course, pastas. Both were meh… my wife’s lobster agnolotti were barely warm. Pannacotta tasted like cinnamon oatmeal, instead of a milky dessert. It was very well presented though. We’ve been to Italy many times and understand that replicating such flavors with American ingredients is hard, but we were expecting much more for a Ritz hotel restaurant. For us, not worth the price tag.

   We may have just come on a bad day. The food was good and the hostess and manager were very nice. Unfortunately, it took over 40 minutes for any of our breakfast to be served. When it was, it was set in front of customers at a different table, before being brought to us. My wife's oatmeal was warm, but mine was just a tick above room temperature. To top it off, our server literally never returned to our table after taking our order. I can believe this place is better than what we experienced.

   Style and stellar service can't make up for underwhelming cuisine at Knife Italian Steak. While the attentive, friendly staff creates an upscale atmosphere, the astronomical prices ($670 for five people) set expectations that the kitchen fails to meet. The $58 lobster ravioli, like other dishes, looks Instagram-worthy but lacks the depth of flavor one expects at this price point. The fried gnocchi preparation puzzles, while cocktails ranging from $25-55 further inflate the bill without justifying their premium pricing. Credit where it's due: the service team delivers impeccably. However, while Knife Italian Steak nails the aesthetics and hospitality, your considerable budget would be better spent elsewhere - at these prices, the food should be memorable for more than just its cost.

    We had an early reservation for lunch and our regular table was ready. The Gem salad with salmon was very good and added a side dish of pasta All washed down with the wonderful hot tea properly prepared with boiling water. Our proficient server, Alexis, knew our needs well and expertly filled them. The lunch crowd is starting to to come back to this outstanding venue so reservations are a must
