$300.00 for TWO people plus tax, drinks and gratuity. Whole chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, salad, mac & cheese, coleslaw, collards, biscuits, honey butter. Somewhere around the 70's a group of foreigners living in Japan switched out turkey - due to lack of availability - to chicken and this caught on like wildfire. Of course, KFC jumped at the chance and launched "Kentucky for Christmas" and the small simple message of "on Christmas, you eat chicken" is still a cultural phenomenon. In Japan, KFC is known as Kentakkii. They even had Colonel Sanders dressed up as Santa and in Japan "Christmas is all about Kentucky Fried Chicken" Tamotsu Nagata. And, people ate angel food cake, whipped cream and berries!!

Delicious and inspired food served at a beautiful venue on top of a hill overlooking the Potomac River. All the ingredients were used wonderfully, prepared expertly, and presented tastefully. Service was also amazing. Because Chef Colby changes the seasonal menu every 1.5 months or so, I will definitely be back.

I’ve had the pleasure of dining at The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm in Virginia three times and ordering takeout for Thanksgiving, and every experience has been exceptional. The locally sourced ingredients highlight the rich, seasonal flavors of Virginia, and the optional wine tasting I selected each time elevated the experience to a whole new level. If you are looking to dine at what should be a Michelin 2 star rated restaurant then this is the restaurant you must try. Tucked away on a northern Virginia farm you can’t beat the locally procured delectable delights. Service is over the top and the offerings are fantastic.

Amazing. Of you are thinking about it, go! John was our server, helped by Paul. They were super friendly and wanted to give you the experience you were there for. We sat out on the patio and took in all the views and it was a wonderful evening.

My husband and I dined at The Restaurant at Patowmack for our fifth wedding anniversary. From the atmosphere to the food to the impeccable and top-notch service, we had a divine experience. We owe a great deal of gratitude to our host John, who made the night so special, including adding off-menu courses, giving us the history of the restaurant and its owner, and telling the story of each dish. The monogrammed menus and meeting Chef Joshua Howard were such treats. With the country and world as chaotic as they are, I'm glad places like The Restaurant at Patowmack Farm still exist. There is warmth, care, culinary innovation, and remarkable hospitality. The Uni Carbonara and duck breast were our favorites.
