   Fabulous atmosphere with live jazz music. Sunday roast was amazing and great value. Service perfect. We were looking out of the window onto a sunny beautiful beach. Great way to spend a Sunday !!!

   Excellent roast as usual plus the new gravy today, delicious, together with the new stuffing and little sausage. Well done Chef. Still not happy with the red cabbage would prefer green instead. Keep up the great service George

   The food was exemplary. The service was polite and friendly. The value was good for the a la carte. I used to visit the cooden regularly. Since it has been taken over the new vibe is refreshing but they should still want to be customer facing as much as they were. The reception was difficult to find as it was just someone sitting around a corner on a stall doing paperwork ( school vibe ) a glam friendly welcome as you walk through the door would be a massive improvement. You should also very much consider removing the strong scent you have floating in your new foyer, it should be considering people that have medical issues and allergens as it gives off a very strong scent of mothballs. These 2 items could be easily accomplished and give you the overall 5 star customer experience.

   The food was excellent, well presented and so plentiful, couldn't fault it but ..... no milk for our coffee so we had to ask and wait. Then no clotted cream for our scones so again we had to ask and then were only brought cream for one person so again we had to ask and wait. It might be better if staff were given dedicated tables to look after then there wouldn't be so much confusion. Having said all that we wouldn't hesitate to book again

   A lovely beachfront setting in their recently refurbished restaurant. Relaxing natural vibes in a very well appointed dining area with central glass round open fire to finish your evening off around. Staff are very attentive and a good selection of cocktails and very well presented food on the menu. One of our favourite drive to destinations, especially in good weather to walk along the beach afterwards looking at the amazing beachfront properties on Hebrand Walk next door. Well worth the drive!!

   I booked Sunday lunch as a present for a friend and we were both highly impressed with everything, from the warm welcome, smiley and efficient staff, absolutely stunning food and a wonderful ambience owing to the background Jazz duo. This was our first visit and will certainly not be our last. Would highly recommend.
