   Lovely food but £28 for a roast is ridiculous even for Manchester and £11 for the tiniest pavlova and teaspoon of sorbet. Not doubting the taste but for value it’s poor. We always come here for a roast but at £180 for a family of 5 sharing puddings we won’t be back in a hurry

   The food tasted incredible my lack of 5 stars is only because of the lack of choice available on the menu. there was only one option available for me and my friend. We aren't picking usually but the menu was too limited for us. Also we were celebrating 2 birthdays which we informed them about but they don't do any birthday celebrations which is fine but if anyone is expecting it don't, or specifically request it maybe :) Other than that it was great, service was great, food was served very quickly and tasted great. Beautiful setting and lovely atmosphere.

   Good food, nice staff, drinks took a long time to come out after ordering which was the one negative. Had to ask a couple of times for them. Food came out much quicker. Drinks also very expensive for what they are, not much value.

   Went for afternoon tea What I thought would be a nice relaxing tea room was a thin glass wall away from a DJ blaring music out, not the high end tea experience you'd want to put on in such a nice building Really nice to be offered to try the teas and had attentive staff, all our drinks were nice The top 2 layers of the food though was very dry, the truffle egg had an odd taste. The only thing that wasn't dry was the little chocolate square but that just wasn't great. While I didn't get the taste of any fruit coming through the scone it was very nice. Ill also mention the pictures used on Instagram was not what we got , the donut and chocolate square were much smaller, the carrot cake looked worse and there's 2 scones on the stand in the picture. The bathroom was a state, the seat was half hanging off, and the hand dryers stank.

   Slow service, had to find somebody to order, had to go and find somebody to pay the bill. Had to pour own wine. Food was really odd the menu doesn’t have a theme-we ended up with fried chicken with curry sauce, bread with hummus and a really weird tasting risotto-the menu suggests small plates to share but nothing compliments each other. Would not visit again which is a shame as it’s a beautiful space and right next to the place theatre.

    Been here for a Sunday roast and it was spot on, we had the sharing platter which was absolutely superb, more than enough for two persons, quality of the meat very top and gravy to die for. By the way the Service is a little bit to slow and the dining room was too cold inside, but overall a great experience. I’ll definitely return
