   The food was alright on my part. I ordered something I would never eat so I wasn't use to it but it was good. It was very slow and I expected it to be a little busier, we walked up and thought they were closed cause it was so quiet and no one was there.

   Place was barren but they sat us in a place with no view far back. Made no sense. Drinks were amazing and gorgeous. Eat in the bar because the bar looked really nice. Chowder was good. Price high for a lunch menu and we went there to have dinner. Music was not a good vibe. Mix of random current pop that do not suit a nice restaurant. Loud so had to ask to have it lowered or be moved. Would not go back. Waitress and bartender did well - like excellent. Food and menu - don’t get veggie burger or fish and chips. Meh on the calamari.

   It wasn’t a very busy night but the service could have been better. Not great but not bad either. Food was tasty but a bit overpriced.

   I’m a local , attend the Reef often for brunch and dinner in all seasons throughout the year . Mostly we enjoy it - last night was a little off . Ambience was off - bright lights / all table party’s crammed next to each other even though there were open tables throughout the restaurant . The food was off / first was told no lobster tails / then told they found some - found some ? And they were dark in color and not great . The statler chicken was good and always a tasty staple - but sweet potatoes were cold not cooked all the way . I thought our waitress was very good even though our coffee was forgotten . I don’t usually mind paying a price if it’s worth it last night was not a great night at the Reef .

   The ambiance was not very pleasant. The music was too loud and inappropriate. The food was ordinary as was the service.

   The food is excellent and the portions are big. The waitresses were very attentive, they came often to check on us and refill our drinks

   The food was not what I expected at all. I ordered a shrimp scampi pasta dish and the cooks put vinegar in it so it was terribly sour. I picked out the shrimp and left the rest. Very disappointed.

Regarding the shrimp scampi, we most certainly do not put vinegar in the dish! One of the key ingredients is lemon juice, which may explain the tartness you experienced. We’ll be sure to review this with our kitchen team to ensure the balance is just right moving forward.    This was only our 2nd visit. My husband and I ordered the same meal. It took awhile for our meals to arrive and mine was cold. My husband said his was warm but not hot. The waiter returned halfway through our meals and informed him of the situation. He apologized and said he would inform the kitchen. Very disappointed that the manager never came by. We also wanted to try the special pumpkin dessert but no longer available. Our waiter said he removed it from our bill. Really?! It should have been removed if we never received it. Don’t think we’ll be returning anytime soon.
