We are a family of 3 adult vegans and the quality of food served here is always top class. Delicious food, great service, lovely atmosphere. Its so easy to book online too. It's our favourite place to dine out. In Warrington.

We came for a Sunday Roast for a birthday celebration. This seems like a nice ace and the food is fundamentally good, but two things spoiled the experience for us: 1) The food wasn't hot - and the gravy was tepid 2) The roast chicken arrived without the bread sauce. We then waited while the bread sauce was being provided. What was delivered seemed to be horseradish. When we sent it back, the waitress told us it was bread sauce. Then it was taken back and brought back with a comment that they make bread sauce with horseradish and mustard! - which is very hard to believe. We sent it away. Then unexpectedly another waiter arrived with normal bread sauce. This ridiculous sequence all happened while already not hot food was getting colder.

The staff were very nice and helpful and the manager apologised for the issues with the food we received, however the chef had two attempts at the fish and chips I had ordered but the batter was too thick and under cooked and consequently the fish was a soggy mess, in fact I would go as far as to say it’s the worst fish and chips I have ever tasted. My partner’s chicken was also very small and very dry, and the dish was under seasoned and consequently very bland, so overall a very disappointing meal out I’m afraid.

The staff were really helpful and accommodating. We had a nervous dog with us and it was no trouble to find us a quieter table even though we had a reserved table. The food was plentiful my roast beef was gorgeous, soft and very tasty, my yorkshire pudding was however burnt and the potatoes rather soft and over done. The Chicken roast meals were nice but nothing special. The food was hot, served nicely and value for money. The pub was very clean and welcoming with a roaring fire.

Fantastic dining experience last night. The transformation of this establishment in the last 8 months is incredible. Attentive, knowledgeable staff, quick service and delicious food in a busy but relaxing environment. All our party were extremely happy with their food and drinks. Highly recommended pub, it’s a pleasure to be able to call the Rams Head our local.

Very long wait for food. We had 2 young hungry children so we ordered some starters for them which took 45 mins to arrive. The table was booked for 1pm but it was 2:20 before our food arrived. Got the impression that the kitchen was struggling to keep up as the pub was quite busy. The food was Ok when it arrived but nothing special.

We went on Friday night when there was live music so it was a bit loud to have much conversation but the food was excellent - very tasty indeed!
