As it happens, The Raj – right in the centre of Brentwood on Kings Road – does something special. Here you’ll find tailored service, Indian cuisine that goes beyond the norm as well as a chic, welcoming dining space. On the menu are all the classics you would expect as well as house signatures that are so expertly spiced they’ll burn themselves into your memory rather than your tongue. Unless you want them to burn your tongue. In which case, just ask the chefs. After that, good luck. They didn’t honour the reservation. Turned us away and blamed it on the booking system
