    It took 45 mins for us to get ONE very mediocre corned beef sandwich at $17. The sandwich was comped (we didn’t ask, they acknowledged the delay). But even if not comped it wasn’t worth it. The rest of the food and drink however was 9/10!

    Hot tea was low quality. Most of the food options were too sweet. Buckwheat crepes were not made with buckwheat, were cold, too sweet and ultimately very disappointing for anyone who likes buckwheat crepes. Salad was boring and not rescued by a few sprigs of fresh dill.

    Bread platters yummy but pricy. Pretty empty on a Sunday at noon, so that was nice. Service a little forgetful, especially considering the place was near empty.

    The Publican kitchen still cares and delivers fresh, interesting food. We went to the Sunday supper club and had a truly great meal. Service was crisp and attentive without being stuffy or harried. It was a lot of fun.
