The Potting Shed is a place to meet, eat, drink, relax and chat your day and night away – where hanging plants, terracotta pots and timber beams meet brass, brick and iron. Where you can plant yourself down on the swing seat, bench or at the bar and feel like you are on your family’s porch.

It’s a lively place where you can hoe into fresh, locally harvested produce, delivered by our shed-hands. The same hands that will deliver you good-natured banter, craft beers on tap, great tasting wines and unique cocktails.

T&C's: - Semi-private dining with all guests seated at a high table. - Groups under 16 guests will share the table; 16+ guests enjoy exclusive use. - Reservations are for 2.5 hours. - Not available between 2:15pm and 4:45pm. - Guests aged 16+ must dine on the group menu. - Dietary requirements must be confirmed 48 hours in advance; we'll do our best to accommodate. - Cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice. - Capacity: 10-20 guests. - 10% service charge applies. - Styling and set menu may change without notice.

The aesthetics, the presentation and most importantly the taste was amazing and we both had a wonderful time trying the dishes and drinks. When we come back to Sydney we think we will definitely come back again

The Food we ate Shed Beef Burger and potato chip is outstanding and fair price. Just when we add order for 1 can of soft drink took long time to serve. We almost decided to cancelled it.

After another beautiful theme in the lane this time Snow White we had a lovely lunch at The Potting shed. Wonderful service delicious food and yummy cocktails, all in beautiful surroundings of hanging plants and potted plants 🪴. Simply delightful.

As always, great food and an excellent atmosphere. Service is very pushed as they are busy. Whilst the staff are always very friendly and professional there is a lack of attention that is noticeable. Nonethless, it is a great place to catch up with groups, the menu is varied and compasses dietary requirements, there is always vibrancy and a smile. Thumbs up!

Really good experience overall. The ambience is really stunning, and the service is right on point. We ordered steaks and burgers. I had the ribeye, Steak was cooked beautifully to exactly medium rare (the only way you should cook the meat), the chimichurri was fresh, tasty and definitely one of the best I had. Loved it that the music wasn’t loud and you could feel the lively vibe. Tables are too close which I don’t mind to be honest. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back again!

Disappointed that the time wasn’t taken in terms of service chipped plate, bent folk set after we sat down, crumbs and food all over the bench seating No offer of ice or glass for drinks, can of drinks placed on the corner of the table not placed in front of the individual Food lacked seasoning and just average in terms of taste Struggled to get any one to provide any service and chased2 waiters for the bill. Overall the service was pretty average and no time taken at all at any point of the dining experience
