   We had a truly wonderful lunch at The Potted Lobster. From start to finish, everything about the meal was exceptional. We decided to go all-in with seafood, and it was absolutely the right choice. To start, we shared some fresh oysters – beautifully presented and brimming with flavour, they set the tone for the rest of the meal. For the main course, My wife chose linguine and I chose the sole, which was cooked to absolute perfection. It was delicate, buttery, and seasoned just right – every bite was a real treat. For dessert, we shared a crème brûlée, which was faultless. The caramelised top had just the right crispness, giving way to a silky, rich custard beneath. It was the perfect end to the meal: indulgent without being overly heavy. The service throughout was excellent – attentive and friendly without being intrusive. There were no long waits between courses, but equally, we never felt rushed. It was clear the staff cared about creating a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. Altogether, The Potted Lobster gave us a meal to remember. Delicious food, superb service, and a lovely pace to the afternoon , we can’t wait to return.

   Wow, we’ve waited for a while to get into this establishment as we are visitors to the area, but it was worth the wait. The service and food were excellent and I am struggling to find a fault. Both our meals surpassed our expectations and left us wanting more, to the extent that we booked straight back in for this evening. Best meal we’ve had in the area and we’ve been visiting for at least 20 years. Special thanks to the staff who sorted our booking as I made the mistake of booking the wrong time originally. This place is a must for all food lovers. Thanks

   Been here a few times before, always had a positive experience and today’s visit was no different, great food, great service and nice relaxed atmosphere. Will certainly be returning in the near future.

   Amazing!! Staff were incredible!! Everyone one of them. Nothing too much bother. Food was awesome. Husband had steak and very rarely grades it at a 9, but his sirloin hit a 9! Most enjoyable and relaxing and lovely vibe throughout
