   First time dining in this restaurant. We were seated and immediately confusion regarding who our server was. Food: The Ahi tuna was excellent. Great appetizer. My boyfriend ordered a burger with fries and I ordered Brussel sprouts and zucchini casserole. The burger and Brussel sprouts came out first. Brussel sprouts came out cold and mushy. Sent back. Burger was fine. We had to wait for the fries and zucchini casserole to come out. The burger was almost finished when the fries and zucchini dish arrived. Servers were inattentive and rude when asked where the food was and the manager was too busy sitting in the back area on his phone to note any issues were occurring. Highly disappointed.

   terrible experience. booked for lunch and confirmed over phone but when we showed up they said we were too late for lunch and could only order from bar menu.

   We had a large group for afternoon tea at the Post Room. We were seated in a large, beautiful, semi-private room. The servers and service were wonderful. I loved the way they presented the options for tea by coming around with a cart with dry tea leaves in glass vessels to smell before choosing. The bourbon vanilla rooibos was particularly good! The table, dishes, and tea service were beautiful. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the sandwiches a little more robust, so you get a better balance of savory and sweet. I hope that the Post Room will start doing afternoon tea year round!

   The restaurant is a little strange in that it’s not in an enclosed area, it’s at the top of the main stairs of the hotel. The service was extremely excruciatingly slow and the food was very mediocre. The avocado toast bread was so tough. I couldn’t cut it with my knife. The salmon Benedict provided a huge portion of salmon, but it wasn’t the best smoked salmon. The burgers that the kids had seemed fine. For the quality of the food, the prices were high.

    It was freezing because the restaurant is just up the stairs from the hotel entrance. It was extremely loud, we could not hear each other. The food and service was pretty good.
