   We were seated outside. Be warned it is in a busy shopping/dining area so there is a constant stream of loud cars and families. It’s not quiet or intimate outdoor dining. The outdoor furniture feels cheap. The food was good, steaks well cooked.

   Good food. Great service! We were sat right away. Server, Assa (sp?), was great! The perfect amount of attentiveness from our server. All courses and the check came out timely; we weren't waiting at all. Good wine selection. Drinks were delicious.

   These folks serve as fine of a steak as you will find in Charlotte. The staff is always welcoming and friendly.

   We celebrated my birthday dinner here and were completely enchanted. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance—inviting yet relaxed, with just enough background hum to allow for easy conversation without feeling exposed. The food was nothing short of spectacular, and the service was exceptional, attentive without being intrusive. For the quality, the pricing feels remarkably reasonable. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

   We asked for a quiet spot and they put us in a small, private room that was perfect for our gathering. The service and food were outstanding. The Porter’s House is one of my “go to” places in Charlotte.

   The meal was sufficient in preparation but lacked flavor and a quality I would expect at the price point. The steak was flavorless (butter and sauces are offered at a price, but I would expect salt and pepper at a minimum). I asked for medium rare +, but the steak was a strong medium. The asparagus was said to be sautéd with shallots and garlic, but came with none. The mashed potatoes were nice. Overall the meal was OK, but forgettable and at $126 (with tip), I would have expected more. My server, Cameron, was attentive, prompt, and courteous - excellent!
