   we were seated upstairs for a 6pm booking = the restaurant was cold upstairs and downstairs on arrival . Upstairs remained cold throughout our meal - food was served in temperately warm plates and did not taste very hot and this meant we felt we had to rush our eating as food, plates and room were cold service was very attentive overall although when we mentioned termperatur eit was only acknowledged and not rectfied . we also mentioned the room temperature as we left Onleaving downstiars was gorgeousand cosy and was avery different to upstairs Pricing and wine optiosn were very good

   First impressions; cosy, great atmosphere and a great buzz. We were then taken upstairs and sat in the back section, the complete opposite of downstairs, kind of an overspill area. It was so COLD 🥶we contemplated eating in our jackets and would probably have stayed longer and enjoyed it more if we had been comfortable. The food is fantastic and the service very polite and professional. Check out the menu before you go if it’s your first time, there’s so much choice we ended up picking things we knew rather than trying new plates. It’s a little pricey for tapas but they are very authentic and taste amazing.

   Couldn’t fault the service and the wine selection was very good. Tarta de Santiago was excellent. Portion size was small, especially the pan con tomate.

   We loved our meal at The Port House. The waiter that dealt with us most was very personable. We arrived late, but they were very accommodating to us and just reminded us that the table had to be free by 9pm (Booked for 7pm). Even when it got to 9pm we were still sitting down and didn't feel rushed by any member of staff. The food was delicious. We both got four plates and enjoyed them all. We also got a craft of Sangria which was lovely. I would definitely recommend going here with friends, family or even as a couple.

   The food was good service a bit strange The original position of the table was near the entrance so I asked to be moved and they sit us near the window where there was a bad draft and I had to put my jacket on!! They had more table downstairs but they said couldn’t move us again??!!!

   Always love coming here it’s a favourite for me and my boyfriend. The food was delicious comes out how we expect. Definitely got a bit more expensive as we continue to go but that’s just inflation. On average we’d order 8 tapas to share with a glass of wine which is plenty of food for us
