   Amazing place to eat made it special with birthday tablecloth and staff wishing my husband happy birthday too. Would have preferred to sit in other side of bar because there was 2 gentleman unfortunately covered in animal muck and they stank the place out x Not the fault of the staff or the restaurant but would have been nicer if we had been away from them. Food came in a good time span and was very nice. Thank you

   Friends and I meet for a monthy lunch and this was our first visit to The Plough. Our group numbered 6 today. The decor and ambience of the pub are welcoming and the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. We all enjoyed the meals we chose and I am sure we will return.

   Me and my dad went on a Sunday for the Carvery. We have been multiple times and cannot put into words how delicious the food is. The Yorkshire puddings were full of flavour and enormous, and they live up to the hype every time. The vegetables are all delicately cooked to perfection and it is absolutely the best carvery i have ever had. The music was good, and the staff are very friendly and get you a drink when you have sat at the table. The experience was overall incredible, and we will keep coming back! Also, i had the strawberry sundae which was mouthwatering and flavoursome, i loved it!

   Excellent carvery! Everything was cooked well and tasted great. Decent choice of veg and trimmings. Very nice desserts too. Will recommend.

   Sunday carvery fabulous. Shame about whippy machine being out of order but ice cream was still nice. One of my favourite places for a carvery

   Sunday carvery always excellent meat cooked perfectly choice of beef pork turkey roast potatoes always crispy and fluffy all the veg tasty well cooked and amazing yorkshire puddings and gravy We go most sundays and every time 10/10service food ambience and friendly helpful staff Keep it up and thanks to the chefs they are very talented Mr Platt

   Another good meal at the Plough Inn. Because I have an intolerance they took special care in checking the ingredients & suggesting alternatives. Will certainly be back again

   This is the second time we've eaten here and it won't be the last. Tried the carvery this time and it was delicious - beautiful cuts of meat (between the 5 of us we tried all the meats) and huge selection of vegetables, Yorkshire puds and chipolatas. Staff are really warm and welcoming in all areas of the pub. There was even a happy birthday banner on tne table which was a lovely surprise. Thank you :-)

    We visited for my hubby's birthday. I let them know in advance and we had a lovely birthday banner waiting for us on the table. The food was incredible and the service outstanding. Literally couldn't have asked for more. Massive thanks for all.
