The entire family is sure to enjoy Savannah's most intriguing & historic restaurant. At the Pirates' House, our most precious treasure is the food. Situated in Trustees Garden, merely a scant block from the Savannah River, the Famous Pirates' House is the most historic spot in Georgia. The Herb House, erected in 1734, located inside the Pirates' House, is said to be the oldest house in Georgia. The Pirates' House first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers and fast became a meeting point for blood-thirsty pirates & sailors. Parking on site.

Very good service, but food was mediocre and overpriced. The ambience was good since it was a historic landmark that we wanted to visit.

This was the perfect New Years Day lunch. Black-eyed peas, greens, cornbread and fried chicken. We're all set for a lucky new year, and all delicious. Great service, friendly people and historic building. Great experience.

We were a party of 8 placed in a “private” room. It was perfect. Everything was wonderful and could not have been better. A great way to celebrate New Years Eve!

Parking in Savannah can be difficult bit the Pirates House has ample parking - good first impression. There are many rooms in the restaurant and there was a "pirate" giving tours, I think. We weren't told about that though. Our seats were in a small 3 table (2 person each) room way in the back. I had mixed feelings about that. Conversations could be heard by all. Our server, Bob, was efficient and friendly. We shared the crab dip - plenty for two. I had the salmon and my husband had the grouper. We had wine but declined dessert. Our bill was around $150. It was a pleasant experience and we were there around 2 hours which we felt was perfect.

Celebrated our Anniversary & New Year’s Eve (5:15 p.m.) dinner. We enjoyed the atmosphere and their award winning Honey Pecan Chicken. a dinner and desert all in one. Great service too!

Cool restaurant with an interesting story. Older gentleman host and English waiter were not friendly and quite rude. Food was mediocre that you could order at any bar or grill. Go for the history, not the food or service.
