    This is a great local hangout. The food is solid and there are some interesting dishes. Our waitperson was awesome. She was friendly and super efficient during a very busy time.

    We are on a Monday night in the off season. They had a ‘steak’ special which we ordered. We had a filet, mashed potatoes, green beans and a glass of wine for $39. Everything was excellent! We did order the dry rub wings as an appetizer. Those were very good too. Highly recommend this Monday night special.

    What an amazing NYE dinner at the Pines. We've dined there during repeated visits to Rehoboth Beach and this is a special place. The service start was a little rocky but hey, it's NYE and we got there at prime time. Everything evened out. It was obvious the host at the door and someone who looked like the front of the house manager weren't bashful at seeing that the dining experience was near perfect. They pitched in, stopping at tables and compensating for any small lapses in service. It's obvious that everyone cared deeply about making sure their guests were treated to a special meal. It was a fixed menu and none of the dishes disappointed. The beef short ribs were remarkable for the depth of flavor and the "crab spaghetti" was particularly noteworthy. Props to the chef for offering a curated variety of dishes to choose from. Thanks to all for a very good start to 2025. We'll be back!
