   My husband and I waited at the door for several minutes, at the sign saying Please wait to be seated, before anyone noticed us and there were only 3 other tables occupied in the restaurant. Not a good start to our evening. It was several more minutes before our waitress brought water and acknowledged us. The bar drinks we ordered were fine. We ordered two appetizers to start which didn’t arrive for more than 30 minutes. The crab cakes were good, but could use more flavor. The tempura mushrooms were a miss. The only flavor discerable was the tempura batter. Given the lack of attention by our server, the length of time it took to get the appetizers and not being impressed by those, we cut our losses and left without dinner. Hope you have better luck if you try this place, maybe they were having an off night.

   PK never fails to impress. The new menu is well-designed, the food is as wonderful as ever, and—pro tip—going on Tuesday evening keeps the ambient noise low (an issue anymore, as these old ears used to be in front of a Marshall stack). Our server, Alec S, was particularly praise-worthy, keeping us fed, informed, and entertained in precisely the right proportions. Always a good idea to choose PK!

   The whole experience was wonderful. Every dish we ordered was delicious. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and were impressed because we had time to enjoy each course before the next course arrived. Lovely, relaxed evening.

   Went to People's Kitchen on a Friday night... had to wait a little bit despite a reservation, and while our drinks came quickly, appetizers and meals took quite some time. About an hour passed between when we sat down and when our entrees arrived despite ordering relatively quickly. We enjoyed the new menu items and our food was good, but two drinks, two appetizers, three entrees and tip were $175 - rather pricey for the long wait and appetizers and one entree that were vegetarian.
