The Pavilion Restaurant is open for lunch Wednesday to Sunday, and features lovely views to The Calliope Vineyard, across the vast expanse of lawn. When the weather is fine, we open the French Doors & pull up the patio blinds, creating an alfresco dining experience. When it’s not so nice, we seat you in the inner restaurant, featuring plenty of natural light and glimpses of the vineyard and garden.
Our menu prepared by Head Chef Drew Buntine, features fresh, local produce, perfectly matched to the extensive range of Buller Wines from our wine list. Our entrées are perfect for sharing and Drew's Grass Fed, Eye Fillet Steak, with a Balladeer Jus is a winner with steak lovers. For guests who enjoy to finish their meal on a sweet note, our Sticky Muscat Pudding with Muscat Sauce is perfect with a glass of muscat.

Food is exceptional and service was special. Crispy seared duck breast on creamy risotto, some of the best batter I’ve ever tried on calamari. Amazing sticky muscat pudding. Beautiful atmosphere and lovely host. Can’t wait to return

There was a large gathering that was not placed in the same restaurant area as us and we enjoyed the quieter, well spaced interior area where there were only a few diners.
The staff serviced both areas and managed our area comfortably.
We had the eye fillet, the lamb blackstrap and the duck risotto. All were cooked perfectly with perhaps the only suggestion would have been a little more rice in the risotto.
Two of us had deserts and they were enjoyable. The wine list was as you would expect from a winery and all were very pleasant drinking for a Saturday afternoon lunch.
