We welcome you to The Paddock Restaurant. The Paddock is a treat for the whole family. Pop in for breakfast, served daily until mid-day. We serve coffee, cakes, lunch and afternoon teas.
On Sunday come for the famous Paddock roast using all local produce. We’re fully licensed and offer our Spanish Cruzcampo lager on draft as well as a selection of local bottled beer and ales. Why not have a glass of wine and choose from hand-picked wines on the menu or pick a bottle from the Food Hall to accompany your meal.
For those just wanting a cuppa, we have a large selection of speciality teas and freshly ground coffees to be enjoyed with a slice of our delicious cakes. Children are welcome and we offer a children’s menu or smaller portions of the main menu.
We have a large free car park and coach parking, just 2 minutes from Junction 27 off the M6, sitting in the beautiful village of Wrightington. Large parties can be catered for - book now.

Excellent quality of food and very good service as usual. Restaurant was very busy but we had pre-booked a table and was served quickly. We will definitely return to this venue.

Excellent choice of breakfast items. Delicious coffee. Breakfast meals were freshly cooked with minimum waiting time and good service from Annalise today. Frequently eat here and have never been disappointed with the food quality nor quantity.

I love the paddock, it's a bit more than your average lunch. Visited with my sister and her daughter. It took along time for someone to take a drinks order and we asked for our food at the same time as we'd waited for around 15-20 mins already. The food was beautifully presented and prepared, mine was very nice indeed. The other two had the pue of the day, both were disappointed as infldividual pies with full crust abd little filling. Not what you'd expect from the paddock.

The vegetarian food we had was excellent but there was not much choice compared with the many other items on the menu which were based mainly on meat or to a lesser extent on fish. Our only disappointment but we were pleased with service, especially when a member of staff apologised and promised that their team with the chef would discuss how to increase the number of vegetarian/vegan options in the near future.

Had a lovely lunch, white onion and thyme soup was delicious and nice and hot. The pulled ham and piccalilli was nice too. The Bakewell tart is the nicest I have ever had
