   First visit, pleasant setting . Food was ok, had an open sandwich, portions fairly small. Had 2 lots of roast potatoes these were like frozen Aunt Bessie's. I won't be rushing back.

   This is my third visit, and once again it was amazing. The service is first class, and all the staff are so friendly. The food-this time Mac n cheese and toffee pudding-were delicious! By far the best Mac n cheese I’ve ever had! The whole atmosphere is calm, relaxing and there is so much history and things to see.

   Another lovely lunch at The Old Post Office. Olivia was our waitress & was friendly & attentive. Molly & Rob were both very welcoming as always! I was happy to see the prawn open sandwich was back on the menu, which I had, along with shared fries & fish board for my husband. A good festive dessert was the mince pie with cream & we both had a cocktail. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The decor is wonderful, the food always delicious, but the staff are also a reason we visit. Can’t wait to be back in the new year!

    Visited with friends : What a fantastic restaurant full of cosy features and a warm friendly atmosphere. The menu was full of great choices from small plates to brunch and mains . I opted for soup followed by the most delicious fish butty . My friends also enjoyed lamb stew and steak slices with truffle potatoes . I want to visit again soon and 100 percent recommend you visit here.Must book a table
