   We had a fantastic experience at the restaurant with a group of nine during the festive period. The staff were incredibly attentive and managed everything smoothly despite the busy atmosphere. Food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect for our celebration. Highly recommend!

   It's the excellent welcoming service that makes it most enjoyable to eat here (lovely Italian waitress served us but everyone was friendly). Food is tasty, lively location.

   We went at 4.30pm on the Sunday so less crowded and noise level moderate. By 6.30pm virtually full but we were leaving then. Really enjoy eating there

   Very busy lunch service with xmas parties so a bit of a problem getting parked. Otherwise the service and food was excellent again.

   Disappointed by my most recent visit, the breakfast (I order the same every time) didn’t look or taste as good, service was slow and our coffees weren’t as expected - flat white more like a cappuccino in a large cup and cappuccino in a small cup - but we were assured that was right. Service was slow and not as attentive even though it wasn’t busy. I will give it another go as it’s always been so good in the past, but I wouldn’t rush back. Wondering if there’s been a change of owner/chef?

   The food was excellent, and the staff were lovely, friendly, and polite. However, the service was quite slow. We had to wait a long time for plates to be cleared, to order dessert, and then again for the bill. This made the meal take much longer than it should have. Although there were plenty of staff on hand, this is an area that could be improved. Additionally, the starters didn’t arrive together but came out in bits, which disrupted the flow of the meal. That said, everything else was great, and I would definitely return. Hopefully, the speed of service will have improved by then!

   Good Afternoon, thank you very much for taking the time to review us, we are very glad you found the staff accommodating and friendly and we do apologise for the slower service on this occasion, we are in the transition stage of changing over to a new systems & tills and have been closed 4 days this week for extensive refurbishment work in the kitchen which will be great when re-open!    Lovely breakfast, attentive staff - enjoyed! Long, leisurely breakfast on a rainy Saturday. Comfortable surroundings and good food.

   I had visited the Old Guinea about 2 years ago and had the most delicious vegetarian pizza. With that in mind I booked a table for myself and2 friends who live some distance away. Unfortunately, the food was not nearly as good. We all had pizza but they came out overcooked and I doubt they were freshly made. Very disappointing.

We do apologise that the pizza was not up to standard, please always ask for it to be re-done or choose another dish we will happily do this if you are not pleased, our dough is freshly made daily and all ingredients fresh produce and local, so I will pass the feedback to the kitchen on this occasion, as we are known for our delicious pizzas.
