   We had the chefs choice tasting menu with wine pairing. Staff were nice and welcoming, we arrived when the restaurant just opened for 6 so the atmosphere was relaxed which was nice. The food was delicious and well presented, each dish arrived promptly and the wine pairing to go with each dish was lovely and well explained by the staff which was a nice touch. My one slight negative was the fact each dish was made for sharing and some of the portion sizes were quite small so if there are two of you with a larger appetite you might leave still feeling a tad hungry, this is why I left a 4 star for value as I felt for the price having your own dish each wouldn’t have been too much to ask. Regardless of that the quality of the food was very good, the pork and potato main dish being the standout, absolutely exquisite! I’d recommend a visit for anyone looking for a Michelin star tasting menu on the slightly more affordable side I would just say be prepared to have to get a late night snack on the way home!

   The service was great, but from a 1 michelin star restaurant, we expected the food and wine to be better. For the pasta, the truffle had no taste. You can tell it was frozen. For the seabass, it had a weird smell and taste. It was also weird to have the puntarelle on top of the seabass because we couldn't see what we were eating. The cheese we got for dessert was just ok. The Belu water served was clearly tap water. My friend orders Belu water at home and the one serves last night was clearly tap water. The top of the bottle was not even closed properly. Lastly, we ordered the Sancere rouge, which must have been full of sulphites because we both had scorching headaches after. We're not expecting anything, just providing constructive feedback, thanks :)

   Fantastic food, very tasty and well presented. Not the same for the Sancerre rouge which was off its window and not worth the price tag. Service was pleasant but sometimes a bit abrupt.

   Our visit was not without 'problems', but this was not the fault of the restaurant or staff. Seems someone had left a tap running upstairs and water flooded the first floor shortly after we finished our starters. The restaurant was evacuated but the staff were excellent & polite. Within minutes we were all back, seated in new areas and continued our lunch. Sometimes problems cannot be avoided, but it is the manner in which they are dealt with that makes the difference. Food was superb, highly recommended
