Food was very good although not as hot as I would have liked. Service was very slow . Half an hour before our order was taken and then another long wait. Waiter came back to check what our order was so perhaps it had been forgotten. We ended up going up to get drinks at the bar a couple of times because no one was around to take an order. At the end of the main meal it didn’t look like we would be ordering dessert any time soon so at that point we left. Shame. We’ve eaten here before and service was good so maybe this was just a night where the restaurant was short-staffed. Good value though because we had a 50% off voucher.

Food was good but still awaiting in dessert. Waiter brought a menu but never returned for order. We ordered drinks when we arrived but only 2 arrived. We asked twice for the other drink but the others had already finished theirs. We’ve been in before and in general the food is good value but the service can be a bit “hit or miss”

Very poor service, food was ok. Staff very good at working out a solution for our inconvenience. Maybe just got too busy due to the Air Show being on.

We had a lovely meal. The food was very good so was the drinks. It was a weeknight we went so wasn't very busy. The food is reasonably priced but the drinks were on the pricey side. Our drinks were more expensive than the food but rosy wine delicious.

The staff were friendly but there were not many people dining so there wasn't a great atmosphere. The food was very bland and disappointing. I had scallops as a starter. Each of three scallops was topped with a slice of burnt chorizo. There was also a spoonful of peas surrounded by a greasy looking sauce. My first choice of main was not available so I chose prawn linguine with a tomato and chilli sauce. There was a great tangle of linguine coated with a tasteless tomato sauce. I could not detect the flavour of chilli or any other flavour for that matter. The prawns were ok. I also chose a rhubarb fizz cocktail to drink. I was expecting a pink drink but it was grey in colour and had a glace cherry languishing at the bottom of the glass and no other adornment to brighten up a very boring looking drink. My husband chose a chicken and mozzarella dish. We both searched very carefully for evidence of mozzarella as we were assured it was present on top of the chicken however we couldn't find it. I gave the table server my opinion of the food and he apologised for it. Such a disappointing meal. The worst we've had in a long time.

Service was very poor - took at least 20 minutes to take our order. Drinks and food were slow to arrive. Camembert starter had to be returned as it wasn't melted in the middle, no extra bread was provided when returned. We had to ask to order more drinks & for the dessert menu. Food was nice but service too slow.
