   The food here is always good and the staff are great. We had a child with allergies with us this time. An allergy list was given straight away and his meal was adjusted to suit his need. There is something for everyone on the menu. Looking forward to returning.

   The meal was very good hot and well presented, but the service was very slow and not very attentive, having to chase for service of further drinks.

   Visited with a group of 7 on a Sunday - we all had roasts (shame there was no lamb as an option) , but other meats were cooked well , especially the pork belly , large portion sizes and all freshly cooked and piping hot , service was really good and attentive. Desserts were also nice - well presented and generous - all in all highly recommended and good value for money.

   Lovely meal and staff was offered a table between 2 family with excitable children running around . Asked for somewhere more quite so as parents didn’t have to keep kids quite as they were having fun . Staff were very aninable to this . So very nice experience will differently be back again .

   The food was absolutely amazing. Made a very special Sunday lunch for myself and my mum. Not the cheapest in Ashford, but the meat was tender and there were too many types of veg to count. Would definitely go there again. The cherry sundae was delicious too.

   Had a lovely lunch with two friends. Great idea to have a choice of smaller portions at lunchtime. The smaller dessert and a hot drink for £5.50 was much appreciated.

   We had a meal on Christmas eve for my birthday. .although we appreciate the waiter was new , so we still tipped him. There were several kids running around ,climbing under our table and jumping off chairs next yo us, nothing was said to the parents. We waited 35 minutes for drinks. My meal because it was under starters came out first, when we asked one of the waitresses it we were told its not my table. Manager then took my meal back after we explained to him. We then waited another 30 minutes for 3 meals. We attend chimneys every Christmas eve and have done for several years. We will now be looking else where

    Booked a table for 3 on a monday - arrived on time - and were seated , probably a 10 minute wait before drinks orders were taken , drinks arrived and we made menu choices - unfortunately the wait for the food was over 45 minutes , it was enjoyable when it arrived , but presentation and service weren't really up to scratch. I would return again as the food was good and well priced , just let down by slow service. We had booked in advance , but a table of 4 that arrived just before us , without a booking were served first and had all finished by the time we had got our food.
