When we arrived the doors were locked,we were shown to our table by a young lady, ordered tea and coffee which took a long time ,both of us had a chicken wrap ,which was ok (had better) but there was lumps of cabbage which had not been cut up enough, considering it was empty the food took ages to come out, won’t be rushing back

We booked here for a family meal on a Sunday at 2.30pm. We were shown to our table. Not in the restaurant as expected but in in roasting hot boardroom. There was another small group in there and their language was atrocious, they didn’t care that there were children. We ordered our drink which took about half an hour to arrive. When they did one was forgotten. At this time we will hadn’t been asked for out order. The did finally take the order and the other drink turned up 10 mins later. We ordered extra roast potatoes, beef dripping gravy, to go with the 4 roast dinners garlic mushrooms to go with the Mac n cheese and salt and chilli fries. At just after 4pm we chased out meals to be told it was busy and it’s best to come earlier. At 4.30 the meals finally arrived but none of the extras arrived. So we chased those too they turned up in dribs and brabs. Dreading the fact that some of the group wanted desserts and the wait we could have. They were ordered. They only took half an hour to arrive. The delice was more like a Jaffa cake mini roll, dry as old boots ! While the staff were polite and did their best. That’s why I gave it 3 stars If they know there’s no room in the restaurant they should not have accepted the booking when though I booked weeks in advance Will we go back. I think not

Awful experience. Waited an hour for starters which were 1 portion of southern fried chicken and 1 kids garlic ciabatta. Ended up having to go to the shop to buy some snacks for my child as we had waited so long. Had this table booked for a while. Was not told when we arrived that there was a delay. By the time the mains came along we were no longer hungry and had to leave. Still ended up having to pay a bill of over £70 for food that was not eaten and not very good service

Nice experience.. however I needed to keep my coat on as I was cold. Food was nice though. It was clean and inviting with the deco. Will be going back once it has warmed up a little.

Waitress, Lisa, was friendly and attentive. Food was great and good value for money. Only issue we had was that we had a table booked at 1.30 and it took an hour and a half for us to get our food after ordering. People who had not booked a table got their food before us.

The food here is always good and the staff are great. We had a child with allergies with us this time. An allergy list was given straight away and his meal was adjusted to suit his need. There is something for everyone on the menu. Looking forward to returning.

The meal was very good hot and well presented, but the service was very slow and not very attentive, having to chase for service of further drinks.
