A delicious meal for Mothers Day. Fantastic service too. Tasty food and drink and all very good value for money. We sat in one of the boat tables which gave a lovely private dining feel and we were able to enjoy family conversation over lunch. A special small gift cracker made the whole experience at The Ness even more special....Thank you to all of the staff you are all doing a brilliant job

We had a very mixed experience here, the welcome was good and we were sat at our reserved table promptly however we were not given any menus or any offer of a drink. After collecting our drinks and menus we then ordered the meals, My smoked haddock dish was ok if a bit expensive but the burgers were awful and very overpriced, the staff were willing at times and unresponsive at other times, all in all this was a very average and expensive experience.

We love the Ness for its ambience and views. However the food on this occasion was very poor- fish very over cooked to. The point of being blackened, whitebait greasy rather than crispy.... and no one came to check if food was ok. This is not the first time food has been below par. A shame as this is our favourite place.

Lovely location especially on a sunny day. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is very good and the menu varied. The best Yorkshire Pudding ever ! Will most certainly go back and recommend.

Wine wasn’t chilled, main course was tasty but no very warm, plate covered with finger marks. Pudding disappointing- lots of cream very little meringue- may have run short of meringue.

Sadly my husband had to leave our table, go to the bar and chase up the wine we ordered 40 minutes earlier. However, the wine arrived quickly with the compliments of the house, nice touch. When we came to pay the wine remained on our bill! Food was pleasant, could had been hotter.

We have popped into this charming pub/restaurant many times, with and without our small dog for a drink or 2! First time we had eaten there on this occasion, everything was perfect from the service to the food...highly recommended
