   Came here last night for my birthday meal everything was fine if I had 1 little niggle 6 of us had carvery tge other 2 had mains by the time our mains came everyone had finished there carveries bit otherwise all good

   This restaurant has gone downhill lots, been here many times before and has always been good, This was not the case, the carvery was just awful, food was really oily, and cold, had run out of a few items and gravy was just super thick, After eating told my husband I felt not the best and shortly after arriving home was sick, my husband is also currently feeling bad, Would definitely not recommended going here to anyone

   Food delicious presented lovely and chest carved the meat beautifully beef lovely selection veg Waitress who brought drinks and puddings was delighful

   Wanted to book for 17:30 but only 17.00 or 18.00 available on-line - selected 17:00. The place was almost empty when we arrived and only a few people arrived whilst we were there, with loads of spaces. We have been before and it was excellent a couple of years ago but the last 2 occasions have been the same, so won't be going again. Went for a cavalry but vegetables were luke warm at best and gammon was difficult for grandchildren to cut and chew (even for 12 year old)

    Had to wait at the counter quiet a long time until served , once served and returned to the table the food was cold. Had to.ask for the meals to be heated up in the microwave. Food also tasted bland.
