Open Tuesday to Sunday with food served all day from noon.
We now have 3 Giant heated Tipis, they provide lots of fresh air and a lovely open environment, they are also heated.

Formerly an 18th Century farmhouse boasting exposed beams, oak floors, exposed brickwork and oak tables. This leads to a very relaxed and cosy atmosphere with candle lit tables and real flame stoves.

The cuisine is typically modern European, classically cooked using cornerstones such as stock pots to create their sauces with a brigade that has a passion for what they do.

This is exciting times for the pub which now has a new bar serving real ale straight from the cask. Be sure to check out the website regularly to keep up with the latest events and offers.

Visited for a Sunday roast after being recommended by family to come here. They were absolutely right! One of the best from a country pub I've had in a while. Fab team from start to finish. Couldn't fault their service, even when you can clearly see their busy! Will definitely be back soon.

Well first time visiting the venue. On arriving it looked a lovely tranquil restaurant/pub. On entering we was welcomed like regulars the staff so so welcoming and friendly 😊 We arrived 20mins before our booking and was told we can sit down straight away fantastic. Drinks ordered bought to table within minutes. All the other customers looked comfortable and happy which shows how lovely it is. Our waitress wow she was absolutely 💯% lovely happy is if we knew her for years.. Now the food OMG out of this world . The Fish and chips WOW that's the best I've EVER HAD. MY wife had the mixed meat roast it also looked amazing The portion sizes was fantastic 👏. I'm pretty sure Gordon Ramsey was in the kitchen cooking it as it was that beautiful and VERY tasty. So on our experience it's DEFINITELY 💯% actually 110% worth the drive out to it. Which we will be again very very soon. Once again thanks to our lovely waitress ( on till receipt it said jamie torres ) Thank you once again x Also to all the staff

Annoying that we had to pre- order as there were more than 10 of us- three of us chose Mussels as a main course. I was then phoned two hours before our booking to say there weren't any mussels which was very disappointing. When we arrived no one greeted us and we waited 10 mins to be seated. We then waited a further 10 mins to order drinks and a further 15 mins before our drinks arrived. Our starters arrived before our drinks. Our chairs were very uncomfortable and the table was on a slope. I asked for french fries with my scampi and I got think chips. My peas were undercooked and cold as were the chips. Overall unimpressed and wont be going back.

I came to the restaurant a few weeks ago and spoke to a member of staff about a table in the tipi for my daughters birthday. He booked us a table in the tipi and said he made it so it couldn't be cancelled as it was for a special occasion and my daughter particularly wanted to go in the tipi as I'd told her about it from a previous visit. When we came yesterday we were shown to a table in the pub, when I told them we had booked in the tipi we were told the heating was broken. We accepted this as it couldn't be helped but I wish we'd have been warned as I probably would have cancelled as she particularly wanted the tipi. The service was slow, the male staff were polite but the female member of staff was abrupt and rude. My other daughter told staff it was my daughter birthday, they said they bring out something with a candle init but this didn't happen. Food was nice. Experience was disappointing

We are regulars here. This is first time I booked through the app as I thought it might be busy. It was! The staff were new, so didn't really recognise us as regulars, but still treated us politely and served us promptly. Food is really good, great value for money and lots of choices.
