Good value pub food with an appetising menu. One of our regular local choices for an evenng meal out.

Scampi was delicious and the chips were nice and chunky. Could have done with more mushy peas though but overall the staff were friendly and it was a great atmosphere. I would recommend it and will definitely be returning. Thank you

Well last time we went everything was ok just ordered from the Small menu We were going to do the same but bartender said there was 25% off so just leave it til you’ve finished and pay then Well it seemed the 25% was only on the main menu which wasn’t made apparent Then only up to a £100 We were gobsmacked to hear it was that much but with wine at almost £23 a bottle it went over ! What a fiasco needless to say we won’t be returning ! We were quite happy to just have the small menu and pay full for that but with the 25% off it was more expensive!!No wonder there was hardly anyone in there !
