   We booked a table for two as it was our last evening in Tideswell .they had a special 2 dine for £25 and a bottle of wine for £15 - it was lovely food and wine - we ordered some starters the very crunchy scratchings and oh wow! the cabbage was delicious ! Friendly staff including the charming Laura who served us . Comfortable, smart and warm atmosphere - would recommend and would definitely return !

   Excellent food and Excellent service. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs. The meals are always fantastic and the presentation is beautiful, "art on a plate." We were there on a Thursday lunchtime. There was only one other couple dining and a few people in the bar area. So it was quite quiet.

   Had a Sunday lunch chicken dinner. Fantastic main course and a scallop chorizo starter. I would recommend the venue to everyone. Plenty of young families with children and the staff were brilliant with the young kids, offering them colouring pads and pencils to keep them entertained. Good to see no children with Mobile devices at the tables, no need for it they were happy and engaged. Desserts were outstanding, and the service from the staff was first class. Great place to eat or call for cocktails and drinks. The building is first class, so I can only imagine that the hotel rooms are of a similar standard. Will definitely visit again soon.

   Simply sublime, calm, unfussy and delicious. Really enjoyed the whole vibe and the mousse cake was a stunner. We will be back.
