    Excellent lunch today. We all had the special Venison. It was tasty and good value for money. If anything it was a bit too big ! Which meant we couldn’t fit dessert in !

    I booked this restaurant to mark my Mum’s 80th and went based on reviews and the fact that we weren’t limited to just Sunday roast. The service was excellent and my Mum loved it.

    Food was lovely. A great selection to choose from on the menu. Service was friendly although a slightly slow at times - the restaurant was very busy. Overall, highly recommended and we will return on our next visit to Sidmouth.
