Ordering our food was easy. However paying for it was frustrating as I was 2nd in the queue at the till and the person in front of me was waiting for three coffees to be prepared and it took forever! Problem was only one staff member was serving and no one came to his assistance. Meanwhile the queue was growing (8 people waiting now). The supervisor should have seen the problem and opened up the other till so that those waiting to pay could be processed quickly. Very slow service!

Everything worked well. Booking in to the restaurant was friendly and easy. We had a really suitable table and the strawberry tarts were delicious. All staff we had dealings with were helpful and friendly. Covid restrictions were observed in an unobtrusive way. All in all a very positive experience .

We actually found Mains of Drum by accident, having visited Crathes Castle we were heading to Aberdeen for lunch, passed Mains of Drum and decided to stop there instead. Booking a table was easy, not long to wait which gave us a chance to have a look around the shopping area which was lovely. We had soup and sandwiches which was really nice and freshly made. Staff were all lovely and well organised, explained well what the procedures for ordering etc were. Really enjoyed it, will be back for another visit 😊

Came here for the second time with 3 under 3 and the staff couldn’t be more helpful/accommodating! Really recommend, especially with kids!

I have been dinning at mains of drum for a few years now and nerver had any complaints. Good food and excellent service. I love eating at mains of drum.
