This 1930's-style restaurant balances a sophisticated and intimate dining experience with a casual and friendly atmosphere. Specializing in seafood and steak, the Chop House serves a traditional upscale menu and features weekly specials. The restaurant boasts an extensive wine and martini list, including our popular Moscow Mule, as well as local vodkas, whiskeys and liqueurs.

The Chop House is a gem found nestled among the brick buildings lining Historic Downtown Loveland. Reservations are always encouraged, especially for large parties. The Chop House's Roosevelt Room is perfect for hosting private events, such as seminars and business meetings or holiday parties and rehearsal dinners. Our experience at the Loveland Chophouse was exquisite. We were a party of 4 celebrating an anniversary dining on a Sunday evening. The mussels were excellent, the pre-dinner cocktails were delicious and the steaks were wonderful. To be honest, I haven’t had an dining experience this good in awhile. Our server, Heather, is a real gem. She was super attentive and really made the whole dining experience wonderful for us.

We’ve loved this restaurant for a long time, it was one of our favorite spots before the pandemic, we went once during and sat outside but I just feel like the prices have outpaced the quality and portions. Our server was amazing, that’s never an issue, but I ordered an “18oz cowboy cut ribeye” because I was hungry, when it came out it was barely bigger than my wife’s 8oz filet yet 50% more expensive. It was maybe 1/3 of an inch thick and, while it’s high quality beef and therefore always tastes good, it was no where near 18oz. I got a single ice cream scoop of mashed potatoes and they forgot my mushrooms. They had boxed Mac & cheese or chicken tenders for the kid which I feel is a bit sad, and between our meals, my old fashioned, and the crème brûlée it was $200, I just can’t justify it. The crème brûlée is always awesome though, if nothing else, going just for a drink and desert is probably what we’ll do if we decide to try again, but more than likely, if I want to spend that much on food, I’ll just go to flagstaff house, I know I’m not leaving there hungry.

Perfect steak. Seasoned well, cooked just how I like it. Very good sides. Wonderful local beer selection. Friendly staff. Classy atmosphere, decoration, music.

Excellent meal & service. Filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My wife had the stuffed salmon that was also cooked and seasoned great. Moderately expensive but worth it.
