   Sunday roast dinner was lovely, good portions. Deserts also a good size. Best expresso martini the birthday girl said! Nice quiet part with plenty of room for baby. Would recommend and go again!

   The menu was very limited not a lot of choice I hope it gets back to how it used to be I think a menu of pub type food should be offered as well as alacarte

   A very nice tasty meal. Good and friendly service. Pub is dog friendly too which is great for us.

   Accommodated a wheelchair and a dog well, I was looking forward to the vegetarian roast which wasn’t an option, however the mushroom lasagna was amazing and with the 1st bite I’d forgotten I’d ever wanted a roast. My husband had the roast belly pork roast dinner which he said was the best roast he’d had in a very long time. We had to share the plum crumble as we were too full but couldn’t resist it and it was delicious.

   Yet another delicious meal at The Lord Nelson. Marc looked after us from start to finish. The food was tasty, every member of staff very friendly, and the live music great. If you are bringing dogs they are well looked after. Gravy bones a plenty and ample water bowls.

   Food was delicious .Menu not very good at telling you how and what main dishes was served with and when asked we were told we needed to order extras which we did . Once food came we didn’t actually need sides as it came with enough . Service was poor .

   Place was empty. We had to wait for ages for our food which was ok. I had skate which was not bad. Husband had the smallest chicken pie with a bit of mash.

    A very warm welcome as soon as we walked through the door by the very theatrical and absolutely lovely Mark. Very entertaining and knowledgeable of the area. We ate the Beef Stew and Seafood Chowder and it was delicious. I would highly recommend the Lord Nelson.
