   Absolutely outstanding experience! Took there a friend for her birthday, and she said that it was the best gift she’s received!!! We were treated like royalties, and every detail there is thought through so well! From checking in to a Peninsula reusable bag for the leftovers boxes. Servers offered to take our photos, and it made us both feel so good, too! They absolutely know what their customers want, and made this experience very beautiful.

   The Living Room at The Peninsula – 5 Stars Afternoon tea at The Peninsula is pure luxury. From the elegant ambiance to the live harp music, every detail makes you feel like royalty. We opted for the traditional tea set, and I chose the caramel pear tea, which was subtly sweet and fragrant—perfect for a cozy afternoon. The desserts? Absolute perfection. Every single one was beautifully crafted and delicious. The sandwiches were just okay, but let’s be honest—the real stars were the scones. Fresh from the oven, warm, flaky, and paired perfectly with the lemon curd and raspberry jam. If you’re looking for an elevated tea experience in LA, this is it. Highly recommend!

   Oh my goodness! This was by far the best dining experience I have ever had in LA! I knew immediately by looking at pictures of the dining room that this was something I had to do and I recommend everyone to have high tea in the Living Room at least once during your time in LA. The food was thoughtfully crafted, every detail was not overlooked! Go for the Royal Tea - just do it - it is absolutely worth every penny. I will remember my afternoon at the Living Room for many many years, it was that memorable! I wish nothing but the best for The Peninsula and its wonderful staff and I cannot wait to go back!

   I had an absolutely amazing experience at afternoon tea with peninsula Beverly Hills . Beautiful environment which gives you luxurious feeling . Prices are very good and perfect place for date or holiday.

   I had afternoon tea with my mom. My mom chose to drink coffee instead of tea, but they charged $11 extra for a cup of coffee, and we had to ask for a refill constantly since they wouldn't check to refill the coffee. I had a peninsula blend herbal tea, but it was very acidic. I wish their menu specifies what kind of tea it is. The atmosphere was nice, but the service was not that attentive.

   This is a beautiful place to have a tea, gorgeous space and presentation and live harp music! The scones were perfection as were the cucumber mint, strawberries with fresh whipped cream, and the Big Sur tea! The sandwiches and pastries have the most beautiful presentation, each one is like a work of art. My only constructive criticism would be to include a few sandwiches and desserts that are less creamy -- I found myself wishing for something a little more simple like carrot cake or a Caprese sandwich, everything seemed to have a dollop of whipped something or a cream center and we got pretty full pretty fast! But it was a beautiful experience and when they brought out the birthday cake (creamy strawberry spongecake under a white chocolate Peninsula cake box) we had to take ours home!

   Everything you could imagine in a fine tea service is what you will receive. Outstanding service from all associates especially Erick our server. The food tastes delicious. The ambiance is relaxing and the valet will have your car waiting for you within a couple of minutes. I haven’t received service like this in years. My sincere thanks to the entire team that truly know the meaning of outstanding customer service. My birthday celebration was one I will always treasure.

   Was a wonderful afternoon! Food was amazing and tea delicious. Be prepared to make reservations as it is a small area of the hotel and valet is necessary at $18. My friend thought it was too expensive at $135 before taxes, tip and parking but I loved it. Have to be into the experience though! Only allowed for a 2 hr window so don’t be late!
