   First time visiting Babcock Ranch and this restaurant. We met friends for dinner. To be fair, I think we arrived for our reservation after a big happy hour ended, and I’m sure the wait staff was getting tired, and the kitchen staff was too. My husband ordered the NY Strip that he said was tough and very gristly, which is the chance you take sometimes. I ordered a shrimp basket. When it arrived, there was only shrimp and fries, no citrus slaw, and no explanation as to why until our server came to check on us a few minutes later. She said that it was left off, and went to get some. When she came back, it was with a cucumber salad instead of the citrus slaw because they were out of it. I wished that she had asked me what I wanted to substitute instead of choosing for me. I don’t eat cucumbers , so that was a bit disappointing. Overall, I would give it another try sometime because it was a pleasant spot to meet with friends.

   Even though we had a reservation, they said there were no tables. But there were probably 10 empty tables. And the food servings keep getting smaller but the prices stay high.

   We have seen a continued elevation of food and service at Lakehouse. Our most recent experience was very enjoyable for the Sunday brunch. Our server was attentive, the food was great, and the atmosphere excellent. Keep up the great work!

   Disappointed the last 3 times we were there. November, December and January. My husbands chicken was not cooked he had eaten half of it before he asked me. He has Parkinsons and can’t smell like he used to or realize textures thank goodness he didn’t get sick the next day. We have gone to this restaurant since it opened and used to get incredible service and food not so much anymore.

   The Lake House at Babcock Ranch food quality is spotty at best. One day it's good, the next is average or worse. My salmon was overcooked for the second time in a row that I've eaten here. My husband won't even order the prime rib because one time it was pretty good, but the next time it was just a big slab of fat. The server took 50% off the bill, but I think it should have been discounted more. The service is usually ok, but it can get backed up on a Friday or Saturday. It gets really loud in the bar area after about 7pm, so don't sit there if you actually want to have a conversation.

    The bartender did not have enough martini glasses for me and my husband both have a martini so I got the glass and I had to walk it up to the bartender to wash it every time I got a refill ridiculous
