   Went here for our first wedding anniversary. The staff were very nice, food was delicious, and they even had surprises waiting on our table when we arrived and more during our meal. Highly recommend Kingstide for any special occasion.

   We dined here on a Saturday night with another couple. We immediately got seated however we sat there for at least 10 minutes before our waiter came to our table to get drinks. One ordered a michelob ultra but they were out. They were also out of broccoli and the flat iron steak but he didn’t tell us until we had ordered them. He should have told us everything they were out of before we reviewed the menu to order. Not only that but he was rude, not welcoming, and never said “you’re welcome” when we thanked him. For the price this should have been a better experience. We understand things happen but having a great waiter would have saved the whole experience.

   This restaurant is best suited for vegetarians, I feel Beautiful décor and great service. The hushpuppies were over fried and lacked any flavor except corn meal. I sent back. the server was kind to bring us his favorite side dish of cauliflower. The pasta nero lacked flavor with barely any seafood in it for 34 dollars. My husband had the scallops and they lacked flavor and were gritty. I assume not cleaned but not sure. Very disappointed on the food while sending over $100 for dinner and one glass of wine.

We are moving into our spring menu this week and if you are willing to give us another chance I think we will be able to give you the culinary experience we lacked in on the first trip.    The ambience was very nice. The restaurant is beautiful. The food was horrible. I ordered the lamb bolognese and my husband ordered the crab rice. The crab rice was ok, but the bolognese was awful. The bolognese lacked flavor and salt. The couple to the right of us complained about their food as well. Lots of great dinner options in surrounding areas. Unfortunately this is not one of them.

   Service was subpar as we caught the waitress standing outside playing on his phone multiple times. We got the seafood tower and a bottle of wine. Not once were we asked if we wanted more wine. Even the couple next to us told our waitress they were trying to get his attention while he was was outside on his phone.

   It was our first time here, and we loved the view, ambiance, and service. Our server even gifted us a free appetizer, which was very kind. The food was great overall, though the she crab soup was a bit salty. We ordered the grilled kale salad, and while salads don’t usually excite me, the flavor of this one was amazing—I’ll definitely order it again. The fried fish plate was also really good, and the breading had a great taste.

   We loved the ambience and our waitress was very friendly. I can’t remember her name but she was very sweet. The calamari was cooked wonderfully but the breading was a bit salty for our tasty. The shrimp in the ceasar salad was large in size, the romaine was crisp and the artichoke was good, however, the shrimp was pickled which dried it out and made the shrimp tough. Beautiful location and the atmosphere was top notch. The next time we will try something different!

She'll be pleased to hear that she was pivotal to your experience here with us. I am sorry that the breading on the calamari was a bit salty. The Caesar salad is one of my personal favorites, but I am sorry you did not love the pickled shrimp. However, if you give us another opportunity to dine with us, might I suggest the steak option, or on Mondays we offer a lobster salad special as well. Our menu changes seasonally so just keep an eye out on our website or call the restaurant and we will be happy to let you know our specials of the evening and point out some of newest additions.    We had our Valentine's Day dinner here and it was wonderful despite the place being very busy. Our server was professional and prompt, the food was fabulous and the ambiance & view were excellent. It was lively but not too loud and the view was great.
