   We went here on a Saturday evening at 5 30pm for a birthday meal. The location is lovely. Set in a very pretty square in the village. As soon as we walked inside however, we were hit with very loud live music from a singer in the main bar. The staff did not greet us so I had to get their attention which was particularly difficult over the noise. We were taken to our table and assured the music would stop at 6. Unfortunately however it carried on for a further 40 mins. The waitress apologised and informed us that it was a longer set given it was a bank holiday weekend. The food was ok. I feel the menu lacked vegetarian options and my daughter's burger was overcooked. My husband enjoyed his meal. We probably won't return although it's a pretty location. I feel there should be a warning when making a booking if there is going to be loud music.

   We have just experienced the most disappointing meal at the Kings Arms. The service was appalling and rude. My husband ordered a steak and asked for medium rare. It arrived blue and cold so cold the butter didn’t even melt. As we were with a group of friends, he did not make a fuss until our friend said you’re not eating you should say something that steak is terrible He then did ask the waitress and she replied that she would only charge for 50% of the The dish She then came back and started to tell us this is not the way to handle it and we should’ve asked earlier Her manner and tone was so rude it was embarrassing in front of our friends It ruined the whole evening, which is very disappointing as we’ve all been looking forward to coming to the Kings arms

   Really good service and delicious food that is freshly cooked. We felt very comfortable and other diners were friendly. We enjoyed the music too. We sat inside for our meal and went into the outside area for our coffee. The loos are also really tasteful and clean.

   Very enjoyable early evening meal at the charming KA. Definitely worth a stop on anybody’s trip ~ prepare to be charmed by this lovely pub set in courtyard and church.

   Great pub, good range of drinks, really lovely building, well decorated. Staff all friendly, food lovely . Would recommend.

   Staff were very friendly and lovely. The food took a very very long time to arrive - there were only a few tables in the restaurant as a Monday morning. We had no starters just main and dessert and we were there from 1.30-4.30. We were happy to chat but strange how long it took. Food was very good and we enjoyed it. Staff kindly did a birthday Happy Birthday plate for our friend. Of course as with all restaurants now it felt expensive. 3 people and with voluntary tip was £180 (this included one glass of wine and 5 pints) With these kind of prices expectations are high. It was good but not exceptional as price would suggest.
