11/20/24 service is very slow and inefficient. Were waiting for refill of water for 20+ min. Entree we ordered didn't arrive at all. Three inquires of where’s our entree. Waiter forgot to order or kitchen was backed up, another long wait. Food: wedge salad, lobster bisque, lamb chops - all excellent quality, kudos to chefs!

On our first visit, Friday, lfor cocktails the ambience was lovely, packed with patrons and beautiful piano playing, tasty libations, good service. Our experience for dinner on Wednesday was the opposite. The music was deafening, loud speakers with a singing piano player accompanied by a beat machine at max volume. We could not hear one another speak across the table, and our server could not hear us which lead to an incorrect drink order. It killed the vibe of a sexy, sophisticated, upscale dining establishment and lended itself instead to Vegas at midnight. We asked the GM to have the music turned down & he said the musician was contracted labor so he did not have control over the volume. Sir, you are the general manager, you have control over everything in that establishment. There was a lot of staff bustling around but ultimately not sure what they are supposed to be doing. Was hoping to be dazzled by the food but the meal was mediocre. We will return again for cocktails in the bar and its well appointed space when there is solely a pianist for entertainment.

This is a new restaurant so some quirks are expected. Service was polite but not what is expected of higher end dining. Food came out at different times. Appetizer came out after main. The beef tartar was not minced finely but rather roughly chopped and thrown together. The lamb chops were delicious and the ribeye and filet were tender. I think this restaurant has a great deal of potential if they can iron out the service kinks. The ambience is lovely. They did charge a fee for usage of a credit card which is very bizarre and considering a bill of $400 seems a bit cheeky to charge $10 to the customer on top of it.

I really was hoping for a neighborhood refined classic cuisine restaurant that excelled in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The reception coming in from both managers was not welcoming at all. Their dress code and attitude did not say welcome. It did however provide one reason for the lack of experience, overall slow service and above all the lack of training of the wait staff. The staff really tried to help, especially Tad, but they were not trained to correctly serve or meet the expectations of guests for the restaurant. The limited brunch menu was incomplete. No lobster and no cookies, which meant no dessert, wow!!! The restaurant doesn’t open until 11, no time to create something? Or sadly, is the food not fresh? The food took a long time to come out, over 40mins., but this didn’t bother us too much as we’re 5 friends chatting. But extremely poor was the dishes coming out one or 2 at a time, with a delay between each serving. Very bad timing on behalf of the kitchen service and wait staff. The food. The 2 burgers were delicious, the remaining 3 dishes not good. One actually was sent back, no sign of either manager to check on the problem. We had to remind the waitress to take it off the check. Totally unacceptable in what is supposed to be a high end culinary experience. It is obvious both the menu and quality could easily improve. The menu is poorly written with misspelling in five places. They need to read, check, listen and design a menu to please the customers. As I always say, sit, listen and taste the food. Train your staff. They are no where near trained adequately at all. Listen to the expectations of the customers. This beautiful bar & restaurant is in our neighborhood. I want it to survive. I hope the owners will listen and make what are easy improvements to make it a place that everyone wants to return to.

Rating is somewhere between a 3&4. It is still a soft opening. They are really more of a bar with food than a restaurant. Our food was pretty good but they were out of several brunch items and the list is already pretty short plus they don’t serve lunch during the brunch hours. They also don’t carry ice tea so folks that do not drink should be aware that their options are limited. Also saw several who were turned away because they brought children. Don’t bring your kids. They are strictly 21 and over. We had the avocado toast(good) crab cake Benedict (good) steak and eggs (ok but steak over cooked) and the pancakes were good (needed more of the blueberry syrup). Didn’t take photos but all were plated nicely. Ohh the fried potatoes that came with the Benedict were the bomb. Perfectly fried. Not sure if we will go back but I would be willing to give it another shot once they have been open for longer than a week. Decor is pretty.

The service was good, but the kitchen was VERY slow but it was their soft opening. They had no tea (cold Or hot). I want to go back after it’s been open a while.

It’s too early to visit in my point of view. Very beautiful ambiance and setting. Service is still out of tune, very very long wait for everything. Not our best date night. Lobster bisque is amazing. Steak was served cold.

After arriving a little late (Houston traffic)for our reservation we were quickly seated and left. We sat at the table for 9 minutes without acknowledgment from staff. The ambiance was amazing. Service obviously poor. We decided to go elsewhere for dinner.

The ambiance was great. The soft opening was overall as expected with some delays and within time kinks will be rolled out. Food portions are small. Drinks are good. Valet is $10.00.
