Lovely brunch this morning with wonderful waitress who took care of all our needs. It was a birthday celebration and a wonderful surprise of candle and cake brought to the table. Delightful. Very well looked after and enjoyed the experience.

We loved our time at The Ivy in St Albans. Our waitress Georgia was fantastic and went above and beyond to help us throughout the meal. The ambience was really great and there was even live music which was a lovely touch. It’s great that they have a vegan menu and they cater to special dietary requirements for example gluten free. If I could make one comment I would say that they could provide more choice for example both vegan and gluten free, particularly in the main course and dessert, as they’ve had the same Asian salad option (which although delicious) has been on their menu for years, and it would be nice to have a change. This is the only option if you are both vegan and gluten free. We paid £110 for two courses food and drinks (and my husband wasn’t drinking) which I think is on the expensive side especially for a weekday meal. The set menu unfortunately didn’t cater to our dietary requirements but would have been better value for money. Overall I would highly recommend, especially the ambience and service!
