   Service was excellent, waiter was great but food was not as good as I was expecting. I would say the odd item was pretty good but in the main the food was on par with any other Asian restaurant but you are paying more. None of it was memorable and the fillet steak was actually one of the worst I have had and was a bit chewy. So overall good but I wouldn’t be going back anytime soon.

   Visited Ivy Asia recently and, unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. Our table was wobbly for the entire meal—staff attempted to fix it, but the issue persisted. We asked to move, but were told this wasn’t possible due to how busy the restaurant was. The place was extremely busy, making it difficult to get the attention of staff. Ordered lemonades, but one arrived partially empty, and we had to ask twice before they were finally brought over. Requested minor changes to a dish but were told the chef doesn’t like to make adjustments, which felt very unaccommodating. Throughout most of the meal, we didn’t feel particularly welcome—until we ordered an expensive dessert, at which point the service noticeably improved. To make matters worse, we were charged £5 for still water, despite actually receiving tap water. Overall, the food was great, but the service was disappointing. Wouldn’t rush back based on this experience.

   In general a very good eating experience. A very vibrant restaurant ful on for atmosphere . Exceptional service and welcome on arrival, very attentive and helpful with ordering your food, then things seemed to fail a little. Trying to get a drink, or get someone for advise, even to get the bill was nigh impossible. All the service people seemed to vanish, and there didn’t seem to be anyone in charge. I have to admit it was a very very busy time when we were there. Still , attention to service needs to be full at all times for a restuarant of higher quality. Needless to say, we will definitely eat there again. The food was very good, and came to the table in a beautiful display.

   1st time at the Ivy Asia for our 10 year anniversary. Excellent assistance from the staff regarding food choices and very accommodating throughout our visit. All food served in good time and the presentation was unbelievable. Great atmosphere, which some may interpret as noisy, however we embraced and enjoyed. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would recommend to anyone.

   What a terrible experience! It was my friend's' 45th Birthday on the actual day and wanted to make it really special, so I arrived 15 earlier to give them specific candles that I wanted on her dessert. I also ordered the Lunar Snake dessert and said to the team member for it to come straight after the main course with the candles I gave them. Simple instructions. We finished our main course and nothing happened, then we were given dessert menus which confused the situation as we didn't want any desserts, just the one I ordered with my candles. We kept waiting and still nothing was happening, so we ended up ordering another bottle of wine, just to wait for the Birthday dessert. I specifically didn't want my friend to see my talking to the team member about the candles as it was meant to be a surprise...45 minutes later I ended up walking up to the waiter and asking about the dessert with the candles I gave them. He said "sorry we are not serving the Lunar Snake today" I thought informing me about this 45minutes after we finished eating main course. I ordered this when I arrived to the venue. I didn't want to make a fuss as my friend already saw I was organising something, so the surprise was ruined. The waiter then said we can bring a different dessert with candles. I then specifically said ok but can this be straight away as we have been waiting for ages and were in rush to go to a her surprise Birthday party. 15 minutes later they brought some cheesecake and mochi with normal candles in, not the ones I gave the reception that were specific number 4 and 5. This was 1 hours 45minutes later after we arrived and we only had main dishes. It seemed like nobody knew what was going on, there were so many team members on so the issue was not being understaffed, just everyone walking around no idea what was going on. Simple instructions like candles in a cake couldn't be followed and ruined my friends' Birthday surprise as they still didn't bring the candles I brought.

   Excellent experience- great service and delicious food. Set lunch at £19.90 was so filling and tasty Thank you to the kitchen staff for dealing with 1 intolerant lady and an allergy too
