    Great food, drink and service. Such a shame that the storm brought a power cut to the village before we got desert and coffee. Candles lit and open fire made for a lovely atmosphere.

    Food was delicious. The Christmas dinner cottage pie was one of the best meals I’ve tasted this year! And the blade of beef received equally positive feedback. Desserts delicious too.

    Six of us for lunch… as always we had a warm welcome and quickly offered the menu and drinks..we all had different starters, mains and desserts… all were absolutely perfect could not fault anything even the bill. By far one of the best pubs in the area for service, quality, quantity and value for money……

    Our Sunday dinner was very tastey and the sides of cauliflower cheese were delicious we were all full but ordered the lemon cheese cake to try a spoon each and it was to die for we will definitely be booking again
