The Horse and Groom Inn aims to provide great food and drink in a quintessential, traditional 16th century country inn. Dining is relaxed and informal in a friendly atmosphere. We stock a wide choice of wines by the glass, cask conditioned ales, lagers and ciders.

Our guests can enjoy dining in our cosy bar or restaurant areas. We welcome well-behaved dogs on leads. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. We also have a comfortable outdoor terrace and garden area with picturesque babbling brook.

We also have a small in-pub coffee shop and delicatessen! Selling the best of local produce, bread, milk and a selection of luxury food and drink items, the shop is open whenever we are. We also provide great coffees to drink in or take away.

Our menu focusses on great steaks and seafood (vegetarian/ vegan always available).

Note: There are two pubs called the Horse and Groom in the area - we are the Horse and Groom Inn at Upper Oddington.

Join us for one of our regular wine and food pairing evenings with the amazing Stan Park from Milton Sandford Wine merchants. Our chefs have put together a delicious selection of Spanish dishes which will be paired with generous pours of wine from Milton Sandford. Stan will introduce each wine as they are served. This event will sell out quickly (usually within days of advertising) and tickets are strictly limited to ensure that everyone can benefit from Stan's expertise. This is a pre-pay in full event - ticket price includes all food and wine tastings. As this is a set menu, we will not be able to cater for vegetarian/ vegan or other dietary requirements. Please inform us of any food allergies or intolerances. Important - cancellations made within 10 days of the event are non-refundable. An optional 12.5% service charge for food and drink will be applied to your bill on the evening, all of which goes to our staff.

The owners have got the vibe just right between being a local pub and gastropub. The service was first class, the food excellent and thy really are dog friendly!

Found Horse and Groom searching for a dog friendly foodie pub. H & G came up trumps. Excellent food and service excellent. Very attentive but not overbearing. Faultless and we’ll go again

The pub is a delight. Our lunchtime visits were a delight too. A nice selection of surf or turf and good selection of drinks, alcoholic or non-alcoholic. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the staff welcome us with a smile and are comfortable having a friendly chat too. The food is delicious and a good level of service means you do not wait an excessive amount of time. The pub and it's toilets are very clean. For us, the Horse and Groom is simply perfect and we plan many more visits.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch - good food,excellent service & accommodated our 4 legged furry friend with a table that had space around to allow a mat for him to settle. All in all a excellent visit.

Fabulous meal as always - last night was the Chinese New Year menu, which was excellent, Super friendly service too. Highly recommended
