    Excellent tasty beef fillet. Melt in your mouth perfectly seasoned. Delicious sweet potatoes. Sad they were out of chocolate berry cheesecake. Great wine and cocktail list.

    Have been to this restaurant on 3 previous occasions and left disappointed for varying reasons. Friend told me to try again as they had noted improvement. Very good experience and everything was perfect! Will definitely go back and recommend to others.

    I love small town America and The Hen and The Hog. Farm to table, whole food; their menu is one step ahead as it serves the best medicine for America...WHOLE FOOD.

    Have been several times and it was a treat to be seated upstairs on this occasion. The owners have not skipped a beat when it comes to making this place a delight! The servers are joyful and helpful. The décor is spot on with the period of the historic building with just enough modern to make you feel like the old has met the new and they like each other! The food is so good. The menu is not extensive, which I like because I know that what is being offered is fresh and pampered with detail. From the kale salad, to the crème brulee this dinner was exceptional! This was my daughters first visit and she exclaimed, "why did you hide this place from me"? Take your friends, take your family, take that special someone for a special night. It's worth the drive.

    Delicious! This was probably one of the best meals I've had. The atmosphere was great and the service was perfect. We'll definitely be back!

    The menu is very limited. There were only five entrees and you could not do any substituting. The portions were very small. Also, I did not appreciate being asked to go to the bar when we arrived. We had reservations.
