The Hawthorn is a Georgian gem in the heart of Haworth, packed full of period features offering a relaxed environment to unwind with friends and family. This warm and appealing gastropub has been renovated throughout to showcase an array of local antiques including a stunning array of Barraclough clocks, homage to John Barraclough himself, Clockmaker to the Brontes, who used to live in this very building in the Georgian era.

We serve only food made using the freshest seasonal British produce and our menu changes through the weeks to reflect this.

We have a custom-made Josper charcoal grill which is the hottest indoor grill available and used by the best restaurants in the country. Cooking on the Josper ensures none of the natural moisture or flavour escapes from the food, whilst at the same time adding the distinct chargrilled taste.

We enjoyed everything from the warm welcome through to the not too scary bill. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient but not pushy. The atmosphere was pleasant with a calming decor and a happy buzz of diners.

Eaten here several times and we are always blown away by the quality food and service. They've always gone above and beyond to look after us even when we've had our 2 Jack Rssells with us. You are missing out if you dint eat here. Gorgeous place for a romantic meal but also relaxed enough for families. Can't wait to go back.

Both me and my partner are there last night. It was quite simply the best meal we have ever had. We chose the Chateaubriand and it just melted in your mouth but was seasoned to perfection and a little crispy on the outside. The starters and puddings were stunning too. We will be returning. Absolutely fabulous service too. 5 stars well deserved 🥂
