The food was not great and was cold when we got it. Our server was excellent and tried really hard but couldn’t make up for the poor quality of the food. The “banana pudding” tasted like snack pack pudding with vanilla wafers stuck in. We definitely expected better for the price they charged. We will definitely not go back there except for a burger on a beach day.

Attended a Thanksgiving dinner served family style. Drinks OK, food was tasty but cool. Great value & fun atmosphere. Would return again for sure. Fun for families or large groups.

This was our first experience at The Hangout for Thanksgiving Dinner. Everything was very well managed and efficient. The atmosphere was very laid back and relaxing. The food choices were typical for a Thanksgiving meal. An enjoyable experience.

This was our second time at the hangout for Thanksgiving. Last year the food was good, just was a little unorganized but no big deal for the holiday. This year was very disappointing. $32/person and the turkey, ham and roast beef was like deli meat. My son did t eat his gumbo so I asked if I could have a kid to take it to my husband that couldn’t come because he had the flu. I was told no. I understand people will try to order extra but all I wanted was a small cup of gumbo that was served to my son. I paid $32 which included it but instead they told me no and threw it away. We had a party of 20 and no one was happy with the food. Will not return for Thanksgiving dinner.

I would not recommend attending the Hangout for Thanksgiving. Our table was a table for 8 in which they crammed 14 of us at the table. We then ordered what we would like for starters and only half the table received their food. After about 10 minutes later we were able to track down our waitress and get the rest of the tables food. Shortly after we received our main meal and it was HORRIBLE. The ham, turkey, roast beef all was like lunch meat. The sides were less than par. Avoid the Hangout at all costs! (at least for holidays)

The food was a drawback for me. Our server, TJ, was amazing and the atmosphere was great due to being on the beach. The meat tasted like deli meat. The stuffing was ho hum, not a southern style. The vegetables were fine. A different dessert would have been nice. It was great to try it but it won’t be an annual thing for our family.

The kids enjoyed the show and the treasure hunt. Breakfast was good, we had an excellent server she was very attentive.

Our experience wasn’t the best. We were sat on the porch which the reservation stated but it was away from the show which caused the kids to have to stand in the main area for the show and didn’t really eat since they couldn’t see. I think they could have not sat people on porch and charge them the full experience price since it wasn’t worth the money. It was a waste of money for the kids and parents not really able to eat either since being w kids on main level throughout the show.

We took our 3 year old to the pirates and princess breakfast. First, we were seated outside of the main dining room, where the actual show was which meant we spent the majority of our breakfast standing in the main dining room, watching the show. Second, we were seated for almost 30 minutes before a server even came to the table. Third, just as the food finally arrived the show was moving outside with the kids and I wasn’t able to even take a bite before I had to go outside.
