   The food was absolutely delicious. Our server was kind and on point. The only thing was we had to sit on the enclosed roof top. Snow kept coming it, it was a little cold, and the floor/my table kept getting wet.

   Great casual spot that always delivers. This time around we ordered the burger and ahi tuna bowl, both delicious! Service is always attentive and friendly. We asked to sit on the patio where it was a little easier to talk becasue there was a live preformer being broadcast throught the restaurant. It was warm and cozy-you would never know it was 30 degrees outside.

   All is great except the live music is a tad too loud. Impossible to have conversation when sitting in the room with the singer

   Excellent dinner for 3: clam chowder, oysters, and Caesar salad starters; shrimp taco and fish/chips entree; key lime pie desserts. Excellent service. Lively ambience. We enjoyed a quieter spot in the lounge area. Restaurant week discounts added to value of dinner.

   I recently visited The Hampton Social in Streeterville, and while the ambiance was absolutely amazing—bright, coastal, and inviting—the food left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. For starters, I had the Bang Bang Chicken, which was fried to perfection and extremely juicy. The garnish and coleslaw added a nice touch, but the coleslaw wasn’t very filling and had lima beans, which I’m not a fan of. The Bang Bang sauce could have been sweeter, but overall, it was a solid appetizer. Next, I tried the New England Clam Chowder. While it was thick and hearty, it was loaded with vegetables, potatoes, and corn, but I couldn’t really find the clam. It felt more like a potato soup than clam chowder, which was disappointing. For my entrée, I ordered the fish and chips, and unfortunately, this dish was a miss. The fries were over-fried, and the cod lacked seasoning entirely. I asked my server, Christy, for salt and pepper to improve the flavor, but it didn’t help much. The fish was golden and crispy, which was nice, but it needed more flavor. When I mentioned this to Christy, she graciously swapped it out for the Hampton Pizza. While the pizza was decent and better than the fish and chips, it wasn’t what I expected to order at a place like this. If I were to rate the food alone, I’d give it a 6.5/10. However, the highlight of my visit was our server, Christy. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and provided exceptional customer service. I would give her a 10/10! We left her a $70 tip because she truly made the experience worthwhile, even if the food didn’t meet expectations. Overall, The Hampton Social is a beautiful spot with great vibes, but based on the food, I probably wouldn’t return. If you do visit, I recommend asking for Christy—she’s fantastic!
