   From the moment we were greeted by the hostess, we felt welcomed. The place was very busy with theater goers all trying to do the same thing. Our server was great about giving us recommendations for both drink and food. We had a wonderful meal and will definitely be back

   Oh my God I ditched my usual burger and instead chose a salad Caesar with grilled chicken It was amazing The chucked was on point and the anchovies were tasty Now my new favorite before or after the show Or drinks

   Had an amazing experience here. The menu offers a solid variety and our meals were delicious. The atmosphere was vibrant and cozy. Service was top-notch—attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Can’t wait to return!

   We went on a bitter cold winter day after a matinee showing of Harry Potter. The staff was superb. Friendly, warm and welcoming. We started with Tuna Tartare followed by the Filet Mignon and the marinated steak salad. All were excellent. It’s pricey but not out of line with other high end Chicago downtown restaurants.

   Love the remodel/update of one of our fav restos. We always come here when we have tickets at the CIBC Theater. Our server was friendly and made sure we had plenty of time to get to the theater. The artisan loaf was tasty, the lobster bisque soup was good, and the filet was delicious! We ended our meal w a yummy (and huge) piece of tiramisu! Can’t wait for our next “play” date!

   Very disappointing experience today. My BFF and I went before the CIBC theater matinee for lunch. We both ordered a lunch special consisting of tomato bisque soup and grilled cheese on sourdough. Our food came pretty fast but the soup was lukewarm at best, the taste was great, would have been better had it been hot. The sandwiches were cold, the cheese not melted throughout the sandwich. We should have sent them back, but we are not the complaining type, so we ate it, neither one of us finished the sandwich. The manager came by and apologized for the food delay and that our entrees would be out shortly. We told her we had already gotten ours and that they were cold. She apologized saying they weren’t prepared for the amount of diners they had. Thought that was odd as we have been here before awhile ago as it is right across from the theater. We told her we were waiting for our crème brûlée dessert. She came back with it shortly after that and said that she had comped it. There was hardly ANY custard at all- we could not believe it. Needless to say, we both agreed in the future we will send food back when we need to and not feel bad about it.

    My companion and I both ordered the Lobster Bisque which only was recognizable as lobster bisque because of the pieces of lobster at the bottom of the bowl. The soup was brown in color and was not creamy as a bisque normally is. The soup itself was not good and not bisque-like in texture. We also had a Caesar Salad and the Burrata appetizer and could hardly believe that our bill was more than $75.00. I understand that prices have gone up and that the place had just undergone a redo but I was disappointed with the food compared to the last reincarnation. I will give serious thought about whether to return or whether to find a different place for dinner before a show.
